I tell you exactly where to purchase all of your supplies. The only thing that you have can not purchase in a store is the curb border. You have to make the curb border yourself using my drawings to guide you. If you are currently using the cardboard version of this border, once you have this wood curb border, you will wonder how you ever painted curb address numbers without it! Here are some tidbits from letters and e-mails that I have recently received from people purchasing my wood curb border. "Hi
Jason.
I purchased your course a while back, and when I got it, I thought it was
great. Now that I have your wood border in my hands, all I can say is
"Well Done!" The card board borders I had been making worked,
but after using the wood version I purchased from you, the curb numbers that I
paint for homeowners look so much better. I'm never going back to the card
board version" "Jason,
I just received my wood border yesterday and put it to use today. The
quality of the border is as good at the content in your course. This wood
border is curb painters dream! Thank so much!" "Jason.
I been using my new wood border now for about a week. This
border is awesome. The precise opening in the wood border allows
me to lay down a better looking white background. Nice
craftsmanship too. A+ dude. It was worth every
penny!" |
If you would like to
have a border which is more durable than the card board one that I show you how
to make in the course, but lack the skills and/or the tools to make the wood or
sheet metal version, I am now offering you
the ability to purchase a wood curb border made by me. When I first started painting
curbs, I
used a card board border. But as time passed, and I got better, I
saw a need for a more durable border. Cardboard as you can
imagine doesn't last forever, and I would end of making a new card board
curb border
about every week. I knew there
had to be a better solution. So I said to myself, if cardboard
works, why not wood. So I went to the local hardware store, bought
a few saws and some wood, and went home to make my wood border.
Let me tell you, that experience was an eye opener. Although I
knew what the border needed to look like, I failed miserably my first
attempt at making the wood curb border. Eventually I figured out how to make it. But it
wasn't without a lot of sweat and aggravation. The wood curb border,
shown in the above picture, is made exactly to the specifications
shown on the wood curb border drawing in my curb painting course. If you liked the quality of the course
that I wrote, you won't be disappointed with the quality of this border.
The wood border is personally fabricated by me, so you know it will work with the stencils that I recommend in
the course. It is much more durable than the cardboard version, and
if your not good with power tools, let me make the border for you!
If you can make the border yourself, definitely do it. But if you
can't, let me do the work for you. After all, you goal is
to make $40/hr by painting curb addresses, and not to be a wood
craftsman. Trust me when I say,
that if you are using a cardboard curb border right now, and you have painted
your share of curb addresses, after the first curb address you paint with this
new wood curb border, you will think it was worth every penny you spent on it!
